Tactical Edge Complex (TEC) is a privately owned, advanced shooting facility located in Kern County, CA—designed exclusively for licensed instructors, government agencies, and competition shooters. TEC is not open to the general public. This site serves to support qualified professionals in leasing the range for approved tactical training and firearms instruction.
The facility features a versatile open range with moving-and-shooting capabilities, multi-angle firing positions, and competition-style course setups. Shooters can engage steel and paper targets, shoot around barriers, and train in realistic, purpose-driven scenarios. A shaded instructional deck with seating is available for education and team briefings. With a sniper range extending beyond 1,000 yards, TEC is built for experienced shooters who demand professional-grade training environments.

Civilian Classes Available
Private citizens looking to improve their firearm skills can book directly with one of our TEC-affiliated instructors. These certified professionals offer courses in pistol, carbine, concealed carry, and more—providing access to our elite facility through private instruction. All training is by appointment only and must be conducted through an approved TEC trainer.
